ADA Accessibility Notes

No ADA accessibility available at Tims Ford Dam and Reservoir

Tims Ford Reservoir is on the Elk River in south central Tennessee. In addition to power generation and recreation, Tims Ford provides water supply and flood damage reduction downstream on the Elk River, primarily for Fayetteville Tennessee.

TVA protects a wide diversity of aquatic life in the Elk River by closely monitoring water temperatures and adjusting operation of Tims Ford Dam. A cold water trout fishery is supported upstream of the reservoir and downstream, a variety of warm-water fish thrive. You can read more about this diverse ecosystem at Preserving Life on the Elk River.
