The Toccoa River Blueway holds headwaters in Union County and flows north into Tennessee, where it is known as the Ocoee River.

One of the most pristine trout streams, the Toccoa River, known as the Ocoee River in Tennessee, contains a wide variety of opportunity for outdoor activities. With its breathtaking scenery and calm rapids, the Toccoa River is excellent for fishing, camping, hiking, canoeing, and more. The flow and depth of the river is dependent upon rainfall, with some portions requiring you to pull your boat through the shallow areas.
