Thomas Tavern is open Tuesday-Saturday and while they cannot sell food or drink, they do have a large selection of gift items, pipes, tobacco and cigars.
Built in 1832, with an addition in 1843, Thomas Tavern is one of four original taverns still standing in historic, downtown Dandridge, Tennessee. Dandridge was a stagecoach stop in the early 1800's and many taverns were built around the town spring, accommodating the traveler with food, drink and lodging.
Thomas Tavern is pet friendly as we have a Norwich Terrier, Jenny, who works the shop daily.
