The Stribling House Museum – Cari Griffith

A native of Clifton, Tennessee, T.S. Stribling wrote books about the political issues of his time and he is the first Tennessean to win a Pulitzer Prize in literature for his 1933 novel, The Store. His home was donated to the city for a museum in 1946. Today, visitors can view his writings, as well as tour his former home. Consisting of hundreds of the author’s personal possessions, papers and correspondence, the museum commemorates the author's life through modern interactive displays, information panels, and exhibits.
