Paris Landing State Park

State Park
Founded in 1945, Paris Landing State Park was named after an old steamboat and freight landing on the Tennessee River. – Cari Griffith

ADA Accessibility Notes

Most everything onsite at Paris Landing is ADA accessible. Please call for specific information.

Located at the widest point on Kentucky Lake, the 841-acre Paris Landing State Park features an inn and conference center, restaurant, cabins, campground, picnic area, swimming beach, play fields, a three-mile hiking trail system and a marina.

Paris Landing was an historic river landing, at which goods were transferred to serve the Henry County seat of Paris and the surrounding region. With the impoundment of the Tennessee River in 1942 to create Kentucky Lake, the state park was established. Today, Paris Landing State Park is considered one of the state’s premier resort parks.

The park’s golf course recently attained a “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” designation from Audubon International by demonstrating and maintaining a high degree of environmental quality.

Visitors often see wildlife like deer, foxes and eagles at the park. Paris Landing State Park is just south of the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area and is handy to the Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge making it a hot spot for observing birds in the migration season and all year long.

Paris Landing is proud to be a LEAVE NO TRACE park.
