With the promise of being bigger and better than ever before, the Oliver Springs Historical the Society is excited to announce it’s 13th Annual October Sky Fall Festival to be held on Saturday October 17th starting from 10am to 4 pm. This year, The October Sky Festival offers 3 venues to visit! The Oliver Springs Historical Society Museum, the Oliver Springs Train Depot and ARROWHEAD PARK.Every October it is transformed into a fun Festival of Arts and Crafts, Rocket Launches, Food, Food, Food and great local area entertainment. Many vendors set up showing off a wide assortment of homemade and individual home-based business products. Old tractors, Coal Miner displays, face painting, Frontiersmen, candles, jewelry, jams and jellies, just to mention a few.
Music is always a large part of our Festival. From blue-grass, to Elvis, to folk and more. Local bands and individuals perform for your enjoyment.
Classic Car drive in just might have that ONE car you always dreamed of or the one car that you saved and saved for. No drooling allowed but memories are free!
A bus tour is also running 4 tours during the day. An entire days worth of events that you should be sure not to miss!
How to Get There
From Roane County and the West, follow W. Tri-County Blvd /T61, to the junction with T62 in Oliver Springs, then turn right onto Winter Gap Road and follow the signs to the High School..
From Knox & Anderson Counties and the East, follow E Tri-County Blvd /T61/T62, to the split with T62 in Oliver Springs, then turn left onto Winter Gap Road and follow the signs to the High School.
From Morgan County and the North, follow Knoxville Hwy/T62 in Oliver Springs to the junction with T61 , then continue straight ahead on Winter Gap Road and follow the signs to the High School.
