Nottely Dam Trail

Outdoor Adventures, Hiking Trail or Trailhead

ADA Accessibility Notes

No ADA accessibility available

Nottely Dam trail is a loop completely in the woods, but parts of it meander along the shoreline providing access to beautiful views. With two parking areas and trailheads, and a short connector trail that turns the loop into a figure eight, there are a wide variety of ways to hike or bike this trail. At a total of just 2.5 miles, the whole trail can easily be traversed on a quick morning run or during a wandering, wildflower hunt. In the spring, keep an eye out for the illusive pink lady’s slipper – an native orchid that can be found in this area's acidic soil. If you're stealthy, you might even catch wild turkey and white-tailed deer slipping through the woods.
