Magnolia Park Swimming Hole

Lake, River, or Waterfall
There's plenty of room for wading with little ones in the more shallow waters of White Oak Creek at Magnolia Park. – Melinda McKinnon Wiens

ADA Accessibility Notes

While vehicles can be driven to the picnic area near the creek, the area is not considered to be ADA accessible.

Magnolia Park was listed as one of the “Seven Must-Try Swimming Holes in Tennessee” in a BlueHealth Solutions feature in 2015. This revealed to the world what Houston County folks have known for generations - the swimming hole at Magnolia is paradise.

With Magnolia's picnic tables and rope swing all you need to add is water, and there's plenty of that from cool, clear White Oak Creek. So grab a towel and head to the spot that's been popular for so long that President James K. Polk made a campaign speech from its banks in 1844, more than 170 years ago.
