Adopt a River Mile now!

Keep the TN River Beautiful (KTNRB) focuses on protecting the health of the TN River. Throughout the year, KTNRB hosts river cleanups along the Tennessee River and its tributaries, partners with other groups to help promote river cleanups and sponsors Adopt A River Mile in conjunction with Living Lands & Waters.

KTNRB's Adopt A River Mile is a great opportunity for individuals, groups, and businesses to take action to protect the TN River! This program allows you to clean up the river banks at your own pace, anytime you’d like. KTNRB will give you (for FREE) the tools you need – garbage bags and gloves. And FREE SWAG!! You and/or your group will also be recognized with a free Adopt a River Mile metal sign denoting your service. In addition, KTNRB will promote your group thru social media, website and our newsletter celebrating your volunteers, organization and/or business.

KTNRB asks that you clean up the river mile twice a year. During your cleanup, take a few pictures of your volunteers and we’ll recognize them at a statewide level.
