J.P. Coleman State Park
Perched on a rocky bluff overlooking the Tennessee River, the park is a water enthusiast playground. Sailing, swimming, water skiing, and fishing on the waters of Pickwick Lake draw visitors and locals.
The Park boasts camping and exploring in the untamed wilderness along the banks of the Tennessee River for anglers and adventurists who are seeking a peaceful experience. One of the most beautiful natural assets is Cooper Falls which is accessible only by boat.
The Park also offers a visitor center and conference room, The lodge is set on the banks of the Tennessee River featuring panoramic views of Pickwick Lake.
Year round events are hosted at the park.
How to Get There
13 miles North of Iuka off Hwy 25. Turn onto County Road 989; follow County Road 989 until it intersects County Road 321. Turn right. The entrance to the park is approximately one mile.

Pets not allowed in cabins, cottages, motel, or townhouses.
Recreational Opportunities
Park amenities include visitor center and conference room, marina, boat launch, picnic tables and grills, picnic pavilions, playgrounds, swimming pool, and miniature golf. Fishing, boating, and water skiing are available on Pickwick Lake, a TVA 47,500 acre freshwater lake.
