Huntsville Visitor Center
When visiting the Rocket City, make your first stop at the Huntsville Visitor Center. Friendly and knowledgeable tourist specialists can provide you with valuable information for your visit. The Visitor Center is loaded with free brochures, maps, and special offers and discount coupons. Be sure to pick up the CVB’s Passport coupons and visit the following attractions with discounts on admissions: Alabama Constitution Village, EarlyWorks Museum, Huntsville Museum of Art, Huntsville Botanical Garden, U.S. Space & Rocket Center, Weeden House, Burritt on-the Mountain, Historic Depot and the U.S. Veterans Memorial Museum.
For the ultimate sports fan, the All Star Sports Pass offers discounted admission on Huntsville Havoc and UAH Chargers hockey, the legendary Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail and Dixie Derby Girls.
The Arts & Entertainment Pass offers discounted options for art and entertainment and for those visiting in November and December, the Holiday Pass provides discounts to special holiday events during these two months.
Along with brochures and coupons, the Visitor Center is filled with locally made items including t-shirts, candles, pieces of art, cookbooks featuring local chefs and much more! Since Huntsville is known as the Rocket City, space memorabilia is on display, including a life-sized astronaut, known as “Neil.” The display cases highlight local art exhibits, outdoor recreation activities, and other seasonal offerings from attraction partners.
A fun addition to the Visitor Center is the #RocketCitySelfie machine – a green screened photo booth where visitors can pose in front of a variety of iconic Huntsville backdrops, like the Pathfinder at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center, the Purdy Butterfly House at the Huntsville Botanical Garden, Alabama Constitution Village, and others. Once visitors take their photo, they have the option to immediately receive their picture via email as a memorable Huntsville keepsake.
