Family Outdoors Day at Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge

Festival Event

Clarks River National Wildlife Refuge will be hosting Family Outdoors Day on Saturday October 17, 2020. This event is part of Refuge Week, an event celebrated at all National Wildlife Refuges across the country each year during the second full week of October. There will be fishing, games, chalk art, food, and lots of fun!

A limited number of fishing poles will be available for borrow, but you are welcome to bring your own if you have a lucky pole. So, grab the family for some fresh air and spend the day with us on the refuge!

You might think about bringing chairs or a blanket to sit on, and sunscreen.

There will be activities for all ages!
