Many shops are accessible, as well as parking available. Some antique stores may not be.
In the quaint historic downtown area of Rockwood visitors will find antique & specialty shops, an ole-timey soda fountain, and picturesque scenery all within a city block. Rockwood is home to the Annual Thunder Road Festival which takes place every April and features live music, local arts and crafts vendors and one of the best classic car and motorcycle shows in the state! Within a mile of Rockwood visitors will find a nine-hole golf course, lake access to beautiful Watts Bar Lake, a sports complex and walking trail, and Mount Roosevelt Wildlife area.
Getting Here and Getting Around
Turn at light #5 in Rockwood and the downtown is right over the railroad tracks. Parking is available in town or at the park.
Pet Friendly Notes
Downtown is pet friendly, there is a park available, stores usually do not allow pets but there is a pet grooming shop in town.
