Danville Landing Recreation Area is located at the end of Highway 147 in Stewart, Tennessee. It was once a thriving town situated on the Tennessee River and along the old L&N Railroad Bridge, which once spanned the river connecting Middle and West Tennessee.
Today, the Danville Landing Recreation Area offers boating and fishing. This 56.8 acre tract of land is leased to Houston County by TVA. Recent facility upgrades have led to scenic trail development and a handicapped accessible fishing pier.
Best Access and Parking Areas
The Danville Landing offers boating, fishing and recreational enjoyment for all. The boat docking facility is a four-boat docking area that secured on a hinge to rise and fall with the water level. The landing is paved and striped.
Pack it in and pack it out. Please leave this lovely area as good - or even better - than you found it.
