The bridge is of wood construction, with a shake roof and large wood beams on the interior. The street surface is concrete, extending through the bridge itself.

You may drive or walk through this unique structure.

Inside Mineral Springs Park at Iuka, Mississippi there is a restored covered bridge. The Covered Bridge at Mineral Springs Park spans the creek emanating from the outflow of the active springs and is an extension of Gaines Street.

How to Get There

From US Highway 72, turn North on Highway 25 (Iuka exit).

Proceed approximately 2 miles to a Four-Way Stop.

Turn right and Proceed East for approximately 1.5 miles on East Quitman Street

Mineral Springs Park is 512 E Quitman St. on your right.

Pet Friendly Notes

Pets under control are always welcome to the bridge and Mineral Springs Park

Time Period Represented

The original bridge was destroyed by flood in 1991. Reconstruction in 1993.
