ADA Accessibility Notes

No ADA accessibility available

Cooley Cemetery Trail is located on TVA's Guntersville Reservoir in Northern Alabama. If you want to develop some endurance this is a good trail to do it – or you can experience it on a horseback or a mountain bike. The trail terrain varies, but most of it runs adjacent to the lake where you can spot many great fishing sites. There are scenic views of the reservoir from many sections of the trail. If hiking in spring or fall, many wildflowers can be seen along the trail. There are 2 standing chimneys along this trail from old home sites that were in existence before the dam was built. Along the trail, you will notice a historic cemetery with graves dating from 1800's to early 1930's.

More information about TVA's trail, can be found on TVA Trails webpage.
