Carols in the City
Ages Event is Appropriate For
All ages
Mainstreet Cleveland lights the community Christmas tree and welcomes Santa Claus. After the community tree lighting, the crowd walks together to each of the historic downtown churches for a musical presentation on the steps of each church. "Reverse caroling" is a charming way to start the holiday season. Always 6 p.m., the Friday night before the Cleveland Christmas Parade, which is the first Saturday in December.
How to Get There
From I-75, take Cleveland exit 25 and travel east. After about a mile, turn right on Ocoee Street. This will fork to the right and become Broad Street. The crowd will gather for the event start on Broad Street behind the Bradley County Courthouse. The streets on the reverse caroling route will be closed. Parking can be found on side streets and public lots.
