ADA Accessibility Notes

Designated accessible parking spaces are available near the sidewalk to the restrooms. There is ramp access to the visitor center where information, exhibits, and books are available. Restrooms and water fountains outside the visitor center are accessible.

The trail through the complex of historic buildings nearby is level and surfaced with hard-packed gravel. Most of the buildings can be viewed from the outside doorways. The Becky Cable House is accessible via a ramp. The interior of the Cable Mill is accessible when open.

Cades Cove Visitor Center is located on the 11-mile Cades Cove Loop Road, within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cades Cove is one of the most popular places to visit in the park, due to it's tranquil setting, historic structures, and prime wildlife viewing opportunities.

The visitor center sits near the mid-point on the one-way loop road and is part of the historic Cable Mill area. This area features a water-powered grist mill which operates spring through fall, the Becky Cable house, and other historic structures. Ranger-led programs are offered seasonally. Great Smoky Mountains Association operates a bookstore and shop, and public restrooms are available.
