Call ahead for details.
Buffalo River Resort features hiking, tubing, kayaking, canoeing horseback riding and other fun right on the river. Canoes, kayaks and inner tubes are available to rent. Trips down the picturesque Buffalo River range from 5 miles to 8 miles.
For those who want to getaway from the hustle and bustle, 80 primitive campsites, 30 RV hookups and four cabins are also available. Not named for buffalo that roam across the prairie, the flowing river is named for the Buffalo fish which was abundant when the first European settlers arrived.
