Parking area is asphalt. The is a guard rail & about a 25 ft grassy area to take pictures from before the ground slopes away down the hill.

Overlook area in the Cherokee National Forest where the Ocoee River starts to drop into the Ocoee Gorge.

How to Get There

From Cleveland, Tennessee, take US 64 East into the Cherokee National Forest. Go past the Ocoee Whitewater Center. Boyd Overlook is about 1.5 miles on your right.
