Athens Storytelling Festival

Festival Event

Life, Legends and Lies - Online!

Tickets are now live for the 14th Annual Athens, AL Storytelling Festival, now virtual!

Athens, Alabama : October 23-24, 2020

Imagination will play a big role in this year’s virtual festival! So imagine a crisp fall weekend spent listening to stories of adventure and excitement...a place where memories and magic are captured and spun into tales that make you laugh and cry. Hear stories that tell of a time that used to be. Glimpse into the past and live the imaginary. Learn more about your parents, your children, yourself. Discover all this and more at the annual Athens Storytelling Festival - hosted online.

Stories will be told through a ticketed Facebook Group, where you will be able to view specially-made storytelling videos from this year’s tellers. We can’t wait to “see” you!

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Athens Storytelling Festival takes place in the Limestone County Courthouse Square in downtown Athens and along with award-winning performers, the event features an amateur night for locals to take the stage to unleash their own tall tales, lies and stories.
