Appropriate for all ages.
Some big name entertainment is making its way to downtown Albertville in August when the annual Main Street Music Festival arrives in town for two days of free family fun. The event brings up-and-coming and nationally recognized musicians to the north Alabama community, and in addition to great music, festivalgoers are entertained with a variety of activities. Headlining the 2016 event was ACM and CMA award winning recording artist Sara Evans, in 2017 it was Brett Michaels, and in 2018 it was none other than Clay Walker.
On Friday, live music gets the crowd going beginning at 5 p.m. The music continues on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
From 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, children can cool off in the inflatable water park. Additional activities throughout the weekend include rolling video games, an art exhibit and sale, story time, a giant coloring wall, cornhole and shopping among the many arts and crafts vendors along with plenty of food concessions.
How to Get There
All activities take place on Main Street/Alabama Highway 205 in downtown Albertville unless otherwise noted.
